Our Story
Dalia Tax & Business advisors started as a dream for MORE. More security for a small family, led by a single mom from a different country. More opportunities for a daughter, who was encouraged to dream BIG. More help for a community of entrepreneurs who didn’t understand the language of business.
In 1983, from her kitchen table Dalia Melendez decided to take a talent for numbers and her desire to help people and prepared her first income tax return for pay. From those humble beginnings sprang forth a business that has lasted over 40 years and served thousands in our community.
Today, under the leadership of Marilyn Melendez, we help overwhelmed entrepreneurs focus on what is important: family and future, by deciphering the language of business. We know the sacrifice it takes to run a small business, the school events missed or the fear you won’t make payroll. We’ve been there.
